Campaign Background

Across the inter-mountain West, the Bureau of Land Management, Forest Service, and other land managers are destroying vast swathes of Pinyon-Juniper forest, including many ancient forests, in the name of restoration.

This is blatant greenwashing; these projects are not supported by sound ecological science. No one who truly wants the best for the natural ecology and non-human communities of this region should support this practice.

Our group represents a coalition of organizations and concerned people who wish to protect these beautiful and important forests. We use a variety of tactics to organize against Pinyon-Juniper forest destruction with the ultimate goal of preserving these forests for all time.
