In the town of Whiteclay, Nebraska, four liquor stores perpetrate genocide against the Oglala Lakota people of the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation by selling alcohol that is transported illegally into the dry reservation. Alcoholism affects 65% of the adult population of Pine Ridge, and 1 in 5 children is born with Fetal Alcohol Syndrome.

The warriors and elders of the Oglala Lakota Nation have called this “liquid genocide” and a campaign of blockades, protest marches, and sabotage has been undertaken to subvert the alcohol peddlers and force the issue.

We are running a solidarity drive to gather food, funds, and supplies for the warriors on the front lines. We need donations of tents, blankets, non-perishable foods, camping gear, rope, and anything else that would be useful. We also need funds to purchase fresh foods on site.

Donations to the project can be made by sending money via Paypal to joey.feaster@gmail.com. Physical goods are being collected through the month of June and can be left on the porch of 347 Ramona Ave, Salt Lake City, UT.

Stand with us in this fight against genocide and exploitation of indigenous peoples and for justice and dignity!
